On September 23, 2025, the 17th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery, and Mining Machinery Exhibition (BICES 2025) opened, and the Craftsmen Construction Machinery press team rushed to the scene to cover the event. In this showcase of high-end, intelligent, and green construction machinery products and technologies, what new products and solutions are presented?
LiuGong
This exhibitor has the largest booth area at the exhibition. The theme: Intelligence, Green, and Extending Human Power. They released an intelligent green mining solution, which includes 7 pieces of equipment, 6 of which are new energy products: a 135-ton electric excavator, a 10-ton extended-range hybrid loader, a pure electric 80-ton mining truck, and an electric road roller and grader. The bulldozer is the only fuel-powered equipment.

XCMG
XCMG’s theme is “Green New Energy, Win the Future with Intelligence”. In recent years, XCMG’s unmanned electric loaders have been continuously developing. The 8-ton electric loader only needs to download work instructions and plan the route on the platform to achieve unmanned loading, unloading, shoveling, and transportation services.

Caterpillar
Caterpillar made a stunning appearance with 9 pieces of equipment from two major brands, CAT and SEM, which included super-large to mini hydraulic excavators, loaders, and wide-body dump trucks. The Cat 3101, a hundred-ton super-large hydraulic excavator, is Caterpillar’s first hundred-ton excavator, specifically designed for large-volume coal mining projects.

Taiyuan Heavy Industry
Taiyuan Heavy Industry exhibited 18 pieces of “green and intelligent” construction machinery equipment, including a 400-ton hydraulic excavator, a hydrogen fuel excavator, a hybrid wide-body truck, a multi-power mode rotary drilling rig… demonstrating the “Taiyuan Heavy Industry Solution” to the industry.

In addition, we also saw a super-large hydraulic shear for the shipbuilding industry.
As the earliest international construction machinery exhibition in China, although it is not as popular as Bauma, it still demonstrates that the weight of Chinese construction machinery on the international stage is increasing.
